Hudson Valley and New York City resident Patrick Harbron began his career photographing the icons of rock and roll. From Blondie to The Who, Harbron has captured these artists and many others at pivotal moments in their careers. Now, explore more than 70 of his concert and portrait photographs of influential musicians from the 1970s and 1980s. This exhibition also includes some of Harbron's concert posters, memorabilia, and souvenirs, as well as guitars from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This year marks the 225th anniversary of the Albany Institute of History & Art. It is with pleasure that the museum announces its 2016 Gala will celebrate the Albany Institute’s 225th anniversary and founding in 1791, when George Washington was President. Our 2016 Museum Gala will be held on Saturday June 11, 2016 at the estate of our gracious hosts, Catherine and Bernard Conners, in Loudonville, New York.
This not-to-be missed evening will begin with cocktails and a viewing of the Belmont Stakes followed by a lovely seated dinner by Mazzone Catering. Throughout the night, auctions with auctioneer Dr. Mark Fruiterman, performance, and dancing accompanied by the Silver Arrow Band will create a truly memorable event as we support a worthy cause.
