    April 7, 14, 21, and 28:  Print it!- Printmaking inspired by Hiroshige
    Bring your family to the museum and spend the day being creative!  Adults and children of all ages are welcome to join us in the Albany Institute art studio on Saturdays for drop in art making.
    Sunday, May 20 1:00-3:00PM Ages 6 and up
    Join us for an afternoon of painting fun for the whole family!  This special paint workshop is a great parent child bonding opportunity and makes the perfect Mother’s Day gift, too.  Register online.

    SUMMER ART PROGRAM

    Ages 6-12

    Join us as we explore landscapes, portraits,illustration and more as we make beautiful pieces of art! In these weekly, three-day morning programs, children will create vibrant works of art inspired by our summer exhibitions and permanent collections. Summer class techniques will include drawing, painting, scratchboard, sculpture,and textile art. 

    Ages 3-5

    In this program, parents and children explore the museum's galleries, read stories, have a great time with sensory play exploration, and create exciting art projects!
